AC Milan zero in on Hakim Ziyech as a top target for the January window

AC Milan have zeroed in on Hakim Ziyech as a top target for the January window with the Chelsea winger widely tipped to leave Stamford Bridge.

Ziyech has failed to cement his berth on the team sheet despite the change of management in the Chelsea fold and rumours are rife that the former Ajax star is seeking a move elsewhere in hopes of regular game time.

According to a report from the Spanish news outlet Fichajes, it is claimed that the reigning Serie A champions AC Milan are keen to table an offer for Ziyech with the transfer window reopening for business in the coming days.

The 29-year-old was crucial to Morocco’s dream run in the 2022 FIFA World Cup where they reached the last four of the tournament and Ziyech’s stellar showings has earned him the interest from several clubs across Europe.

Milan are considered to be long-standing suitors for Ziyech’s signature with the San Siro camp credited with a strong interest in moving in for the Chelsea man last summer in a loan deal with an option to buy.
