AC Milan reignite their interest in signing Chelsea attacker Hakim Ziyech

AC Milan have reignited their interest in signing Chelsea attacker Hakim Ziyech and are mulling over making a loan move to bring him to San Siro in the upcoming January transfer window.

The Italian top flight champions are said to be keen on a six-month loan deal with an option to buy the 29-year-old Ziyech next summer as they look to offer him an exit route from west London.

Ziyech’s fall down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge has been well documented and with just two starts to his name so far this season despite the change in management at the Bridge, the former Ajax man is likely to seek a new destination.

Milan’s interest in signing Ziyech last summer had failed to materialise and the Serie A holders could be in line to revive that when the transfer window reopens for business in the New Year, according to a report from The Standard.

After losing Alexis Saelemaekers to a long-term knee injury, Ziyech has emerged once again on the radar at San Siro with Milan on the hunt for an emergency signing to bolster their front line options.
