AC Milan have reportedly pulled out of the race to sign Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech who is likely to head out the Stamford Bridge exit door in this summer’s transfer window.
According to a report from the Italian news outlet TMW, AC Milan are set to end their long-standing interest in moving in for Ziyech’s signature with the Rossoneri eyeing up other names in the market.
Ziyech has been heavily linked with a move away from Chelsea in recent times with the Moroccon playmaker ‘unsettled’ in the Stamford Bridge fold following his limited first-team involvement under Thomas Tuchel’s charge.
The Chelsea head coach Tuchel is keen on a major overhaul of his attacking ranks before the window closes with the likes of Ziyech and Christian Pulisic expected to be cashed in on to raise funds for new signings.
Both Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner, Tuchel’s go-to striking options last term, have left Chelsea this summer with Werner re-signing for his former club RB Leipzig earlier in the week on a permanent basis.
