Chelsea playmaker Hakim Ziyech has been heavily linked with a move to Italians AC Milan with the Moroccon international seemingly out of favour with Thomas Tuchel at Stamford Bridge.
Ziyech has not been a first-team name regularly under the German coach who took over from Frank Lampard earlier this year and led the Blues to a memorable Champions League win coupled with a narrow top-four finish in the Premier League.
Reports from Italian publication Corriere dello Sport claims that AC Milan are in line to propose a season-long loan arrangement for Ziyech who could find his place in the Chelsea side subject to much uncertainty leading up to the start of the new season.
Thomas Tuchel has been backed to use the ongoing transfer window to bring in attacking reinforcements and with the likes of Borussia Dortmund’s talisman Erling Haaland and Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin tipped to be some of the names scouted by the Chelsea gaffer.
Ziyech could be AC Milan’s second capture from the Stamford Bridge camp with the Italian side earlier having triggered the buy-out clause in the initial loan deal for the young centre-back Fikayo Tomori who has now signed a long-term contract at San Siro.
