Chelsea loanee Fikayo Tomori could be leaving the Blues on a permanent deal come the summer amid reports from Sempre Milan claiming that AC Milan wants to sign the English central defender on a permanent basis.
The young defender signed for the Serie A giants during this January transfer window after falling down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge and in his limited time for AC Milan, Tomori has delivered a series of impressive showings at the back.
A £24.5 million worth to-buy clause is reportedly inserted in the loan agreement between the two clubs and AC Milan are now pondering over activating it to make the Englishman’s stay in Italy confirmed beyond the summer.
New boss Thomas Tuchel is understood to be wanting to shore up his defensive options ahead of next season and with the likes of Antonio Rudiger and Thiago Silva yet to sign on extended terms, Chelsea could be open to parting ways with the 22-year-old Tomori if AC Milan intensifies their interest in the player.
