Chelsea attacking pairing Hakim Ziyech and Olivier Giroud are top targets for AC Milan this summer with the Italian giants looking to add two more Blues to their ranks after Fikayo Tomori’s move.
AC Milan opted to trigger the buy-out clause in Tomori’s loan agreement with the 22-year-old centre-back calling it quits at Stamford Bridge in favour of a permanent transfer to San Siro.
Reports from The Mirror claim that Ziyech and Giroud, both of whom have fallen out of favour with Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel since his January appointment to the job, are names that AC Milan gaffer Piolo keen on ahead of next season’s start.
Ziyech signed for Chelsea only last summer but the Moroccon international has failed to replicate his Ajax success while turning out for the west Londoners, giving birth to talk that Milan will be keen on him to replace the outgoing Hakan Calhanoglu who has joined arch-rivals Inter.
With reports of Chelsea eyeing up Dortmund talisman Erling Haaland this summer, Olivier Giroud is backed to exit the Bridge as well with the Frenchman bound to fall further down the first-team pecking order should Haaland’s big-money move to Chelsea materialise.
