Loaning out Antonio Rudiger will be the best option for both the club and the player

Barcelona and Roma are the two teams that are keen to sign Chelsea defender, Antonio Rudiger who has fallen out of favour under coach Frank Lampard as per reports.

The reports from Germany indicate that the 27 years old defender may be taken on loan by one of the two teams. The centre back might also prefer to move out of Stamford Bridge as he has fallen down the pecking order.

Moreover, with the arrival of Thiago Silva at Chelsea this summer, his chances to feature in any match is slim.

Although he got the opportunity to play after a long time against Burnsley in Carabao cup, he may leave before the transfer window shuts down,

Also, as per reports, the German international is eyeing to break into his national team as the UEFA Euros is knocking at the door. So he will grab any opportunity where he will be guaranteed to get minutes on the pitch.

The German international has fallen down the pecking order below Fikayo Tomori, Kurt Zouma and Andreas Christensen. In his last season, he has made 26 appearances for the Blues and was a part of the terrible Chelsea defence line.

Spanish Giant Barcelona needs a proper back-up fro Gerrard Pique and they see Rudiger as a good option. They can rely more on him rather than the injured and out of form Samuel Umtiti. It is yet to see what the club decides for him.
