Christian Pulisic takes over the Number 10 shirt of Chelsea FC which eventually made him the most important player of the squad.
An American soccer player will wear the number 10 shirt at one of the biggest clubs in the world. Pulisic previously wore No. 22 shirt in his debut season for Chelsea. He is taking the prestigious and symbolic shirt from Willian who left for Arsenal this summer window.
Pulisic 10 makes perfect sense..
1). A marketing goldmine for Chelsea
2).Allows Ziyech to take the iconic 22 shirt #HZM& The most important reason
3). Pulisic Deserves it.. 🇺🇸#CP10

The Brazilian had only inherited the jersey from Eden Hazard a year ago when the Belgian left Chelsea to join Real Madrid for a club-record fee.
From Mata to Hazard and now Pulisic. We have the best 10s and it ain’t even a debate.

Willian’s sudden exit created a vacancy for the iconic No.10 shirt, which has also been worn by the likes of Joe Cole and Mark Hughes in addition to Willian and Hazard.
Ever since Pulisic arrived at Stamford Bridge, he has drawn comparisons to Eden Hazard. He has dazzling skills when he moves with the ball on the field, similar to that of Chelsea’s former superstar.
The number 10 shirt will be the only similarity with these two in my mind.
Pulisic isn't here to live up to Hazard's legacy, he's here to start his own. Let the journey to legendary status begin. pic.twitter.com/te9Jx0qc2u

He too will take over the No. 10 shirt just like Hazard did after arriving and impressing at the Samford Bridge.
Pulisic’s No.22 shirt will now be handed to summer arrival, ex-Ajax star Hakim Ziyech. He was already seen wearing 22 during Chelsea’s pre-season friendly against Brighton.
