Chelsea’s center-back Fikayo Tomori is on the verge of joining Everton on a season-long deal. Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti has the ambition to compete with the top clubs of the Premier League.
Tomori will be another addition to his first-team squad this summer.
Ancelloti brought in World Cup 2014 Golden ball winner, James Rodgriguez from Real Madrid. He also signed Napoli midfielder Allan for £22million at the weekend.

It seems like Ancelotti is trying to fix the weak link of the team i.e. the defensive department.
Moreover, Chelsea is also keen for their 22-year-old Tomori to gain some regular first-team football in the Premier League. This has reportedly advanced the transfer talks between the two clubs.
It is also reported that Tomori has attracted interest from Newcastle United and Rennes. But Everton will be his preferable destination as it seems.
The young center-back has played last season for Chelsea and scored a classic screamer from 30-yards against Wolves. He was also called up to the England squad and made his senior debut for his national team last year.
But Tomori went down the pecking order gradually and didn’t feature in any match after the COVID-break. The 22-year-old defender made 22 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions last season.
