Real Madrid paid 100 million euros to Chelsea to sign Eden Hazard. This was the transfer news which everyone got to know at that time.
But several Belgian media has revealed that Madrid has paid not $100 million but $160 million.
It is reported that the Spanish Giant has fraud by not giving the small percentage of the transfer price to Hazard’s former clubs.
According to FIFA regulations, the clubs are entitled to receive up to 5% of the income in case of future transfers, at a rate of 0.25% per year for ages between 12 and 15 years and 0.50% for 16 to 23.
The 29 years old winger, Eden Hazard played for three clubs in that period: Belgian Tubize, until 2005; the French Lille, between 2005 and 2012; and Chelsea FC, between 2012 and 2019.
Double the 0.25% of 160 million should be received by AFC Tubize.
This payment should be completed in three parts according to the rule: 40 million in 2019, 56 million in 2020, and 64 million in 2021, as per the reports.
If every penny is given to the respective clubs by Madrid, Hazard will become the most expensive player in Real Madrid history.
He will surpass the welsh International Gareth Bale who had cost over 100 million euros and the Real Madrid legend, Cristiano Ronaldo who had cost 96 million euros back.
AFC Tubize SA presented itself at a German bank as the debt holder to try to get 600,000 euros of the amount that they are entitled to. The media says that Madrid solved the issue in a friendly way before Tubize could file a complaint about the scam.
