Looking to bounce back to winning ways, Chelsea FC play hosts to already-relegated Norwich City FC on Tuesday evening. The Blues would be aware of the importance of their upcoming game, with only three fixtures to go and Frank Lampard’s side yet to cement a top-four finish.
Chelsea FC suffered a humiliating 3-0 defeat at the hands of Sheffield United on their visit to Brammall Lane last week. A horrible display of defensive errors was the primary reason behind the Blues being subject to a flurry of goals from the Blades.
The Blues managed to stay third in the Premier League standings despite their loss to Sheffield United, with Leicester City also been subject to a defeat away at AFC Bournemouth.
Meanwhile, Norwich City’s impending threat of relegation was confirmed when the Canaries fell to a 4-0 humbling at home to West Ham United. The result means that Daniel Farke’s side would be heading back to the Championship next season.
Stamford Bridge, however, has been a fortress for the Blues in recent weeks. The west London based Premier League outfit have not lost a single game at their home stadium post the lockdown period and would be hoping to continue their winning run.

TEAM NEWS
Chelsea FC will be without midfielders N’Golo Kante and Billy Gilmour for their upcoming game. Gilmour was sidelined recently for up to three months with the Scottish youngster requiring surgery due to a knee injury sustained by the 19-year old.
Fikayo Tomori will also be unavailable due to injury troubles. The 22-year old center-back has just appeared in three Premier League games since the start of 2020.
Jorginho is certain to start as one of the three central midfielders for the hosts. After being benched for four games post the lockdown period, the Italian has reclaimed his place in the starting lineup for Chelsea FC after injuries at Kante and Gilmour.
Christoph Zimmermann and Grant Hanley would be missing in action for the visiting Norwich City. Both players have missed recent games for the Canaries with injury troubles.
German midfielder Moritz Leitner is also set to miss the game against Chelsea FC with the 27-year old being ruled out for the remainder of the season with a hernia problem.
