Chelsea may have beaten the Spurs side, however, the Bavarian giants present a stern test ahead of the UEFA Champions League first-leg tie. This would see Frank Lampard’s men face the technical German side as hostilities ensue in Europe in midweek.
The Blues scored twice with goals coming from Olivier Giroud and Marcus Alonso within the 15th and 48th minutes of the game respectively when Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur visited.
However, against the likes of Serge Gnabry and Robert Lewandowski, Chelsea would be needing to be at their best as action ensues between both European giants.
The Bavarian giants beat SC Paderborn 07 3-2. thanks to goals from Serge Gnabry and a brace from star forward Robert Lewandowski. This should worry the Chelsea and Frank Lampard side as they’ve been unconvincing in the defense of late.

The match is already in view even as German international Antonio Rudiger and Manuel Neuer showed their human weakness at the weekend leading to the inability of both sides to keep a clean sheet in the League as battle looms in midweek.
All said and done, Chelsea can beat Bayern owing to the quality and home advantage they’ve got going into this fixture.
