Chelsea Fans Praise Enzo Fernandez After Confrontation With Mason Mount

Chelsea fans praised Enzo Fernandez following his altercation with Mason Mount during the Blues remarkable 4-3 comeback win over Manchester United on Thursday.

The West London club surprised everyone when they changed the momentum of the game in the final minutes. Cole Palmer turned the game on its head by completing his hattrick in 100th minute.

Fernandez also had a role to play in the match as his quick corner helped Palmer score from a shot inside the box. However, there was another incident that won the fan’s hearts with the Argentine involved in it once again.

Former Chelsea player Mason Mount who entered the field in the 86th minute in replacement for Alejandro Garnacho. There were boos heard all over as fans were not happy by his return with many even writing Judas on the back of the No.19 shirt.

Mount signed for Man United for £55 million in the last summer transfer window as he left on a sour note. The Chelsea fans always considered him to stay at the club for years to come as he was a bright player at the club.

His return to Stamford Bridge was not well taken, and the fans were happy when Fernandez was involved in a confrontation with the former Chelsea man.

Mount confronted the Argentine star as he kicked the ball back to let United take a throw in. Both players were seen clashing their heads and looking eye to eye with some pushing involved. They were separated as the referee tried to ease them down.

However after the final whistle, Fernandez was seen beating his chest as he celebrated the victory in front of Mount. The fans loved this moment and praised the South American for being a proper Chelsea player.

Fernandez was heard saying ‘Coward, Coward! to the English player.

Fernandez has indeed made  name for himself am0ng the Chelsea fans. However, Mount wouldn’t favour a return to Stamford Bridge anytime soon.
