Chelsea are keeping a close watch on the ongoing dispute between Victor Osimhen and Napoli, as reported by talkSPORT.
The Nigerian striker played a pivotal role in Napoli’s recent Serie A title win, which marked their first in 33 years. He played a key role in the club’s Serie A victory by scoring 26 goals, becoming the league’s top scorer.
However, after missing a penalty last weekend, Napoli’s TikTok account shared a mocking video on their page, targeting the striker’s miss.

In response, Osimhen removed all Napoli-related content from his social media, and his agent expressed displeasure with the video on Twitter.
His agent Calenda said:
“What happened today on Napoli’s official profile on the TikTok platform is not acceptable. A video mocking Victor was first made public and then, but now belatedly, deleted.”
“A serious fact that causes very serious damage to the player and adds to the treatment that the boy is suffering in the last period between media trials and fake news.”

Osimhen is considering a potential departure in January, and Chelsea have expressed interest in acquiring him.
The Blues are in dire need of more attacking players, especially given Nicolas Jackson’s struggles in the Premier League. The African star is a target for them, and they might make a move.
Securing the services of the former Lille striker won’t come cheap, but Chelsea stands as one of the few clubs with the financial capability to execute such a deal.
Chelsea’s manager, Mauricio Pochettino, is eager to bolster his squad with an additional striker, and the club intends to keep a close eye on the situation between Osimhen and Napoli as a potential opportunity to strike.
