Bayern Munich are set to challenge Chelsea’s plans of signing Aaron Ramsdale who is considering leaving Arsenal after losing the first choice status as goalkeeper for Mikel Arteta’s side.
Ramsdale’s short and long-term future with the Gunners hangs in the balance after Arteta chose to hand his summer signing David Raya the starting berth on the team sheet in the recent 1-0 win over Everton.
Chelsea have been tipped as strong contenders for the England international shot stopper with the Blues on the hunt for options to strengthen their goalkeeping department despite signing Robert Sanchez from Brighton in the summer.
According to a report from Goal, it is claimed that German champions Bayern are also in the mix for a new goalkeeper as they plan to line up a long-term replacement for Manuel Neuer and Ramsale is one of the names on their shopping list.
Ramsdale has grown into one of the top players in the Premier League since his move to the Emirates from Sheffield United in 2021 and an exit from North London is said to be on the cards for him following his fall down the pecking order.
