Arsenal set to move in for Chelsea transfer target Mohammed Kudus

Arsenal are looking set to move in for Chelsea transfer target Mohammed Kudus with the Stamford Bridge camp focusing on alternative names in the market this summer.

The Ajax talent Kudus had been linked with a move to the Blues of late but recent speculation has suggested that Chelsea are keen on closing the agreement to sign Brighton star Moises Caicedo in a Premier League record transfer.

According to a report from The Daily Express, it is claimed that last season’s Premier League runners up Arsenal might now have a free run at signing Kudus much to the delight of their manager Mikel Arteta.

Kudus’ signature is said to be wanted by a host of top sides across the country after his scintillating 2022-23 campaign in the Ajax shirt which made the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool take note of the Ghanaian’s ability.

Chelsea, however, are focusing on finalising the deal to bring the 21-year-old Brighton maestro Caicedo to the Bridge to provide the new head coach Mauricio Pochettino with a fresh pair of legs in the engine room.
