As reported by transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Leicester City have reached an agreement with Chelsea, involving the loan of promising talent Cesare Casadei.
Chelsea are eager to provide the 20-year-old with substantial exposure to foster his potential and facilitate his integration into their senior team strategies for the upcoming season.
Casadei was widely deemed an impressive signing when the Blues acquired him from Inter Milan last year.
However, at the age of 20, he wasn’t perceived as being prepared for immediate inclusion in the first-team strategies, leading the club to opt for a loan arrangement with Reading in January.

This decision proved beneficial, as Casadei established himself as a consistent presence for Reading, participating in 15 matches within the Championship.
Following this, the Chelsea talent excelled on the international stage by contributing significantly to Italy’s U20 World Cup campaign, subsequently clinching both the Golden Boot and the Golden Boy awards.

Chelsea holds strong aspirations for the talented midfielder. Although the youngster made a handful of appearances during the US tour, the club recognized the value of providing him with consistent game time elsewhere for the upcoming season.
Consequently, the decision to secure a loan option became pivotal in nurturing his development.
Leicester City have harboured a longstanding interest in the midfielder, with the instrumental role of their manager, Enzo Maresca, in facilitating this deal.
Maresca’s familiarity with utilizing Casadei within his tactical system could bolster Leicester’s pursuit of a Premier League return.
On the whole, the decision to send the young Chelsea talent on loan emerges as an excellent decision, building optimism that he will excel and make a notable impact within their ranks.
