Chelsea are reportedly willing to spend an eyewatering €150 million sum to sign Vinicius Junior from Real Madrid this summer which could break the current British transfer record.
The Blues had spent a Premier League record fee on bringing Argentine World Cup star Enzo Fernandez to Stamford Bridge in the January transfer window and Todd Beohly could be set to better that in the coming months.
According to a report from the Spanish news outlet El Nacional, it is claimed that the west London giants are prepared to fork out a €150 million fee to land the signature of Real Madrid and Brazil attacking talent Vinicius.
There is speculation doing the rounds of late that the 22-year-old Brazil international could leave LaLiga in light of the countless racist abuse he has encouraged this season and the Premier League has been tipped as a destination by the player’s agent.
Chelsea, however, are not the only European heavyweight in the mix for the Real star with Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain also keeping tabs on his situation ahead of the summer window.
