Chelsea Set For Major Revamp With Futuristic Kit, and Sponsorship Shake-up

Chelsea fans are eagerly anticipating the upcoming 2023/24 season following a disappointing campaign.

With the potential appointment of Mauricio Pochettino as manager and promising transfer prospects, the club aims to bounce back both on and off the pitch.

Owner Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital are determined to enhance Chelsea’s revenue streams, enabling them to compete with financially stronger Premier League rivals.

As reported by Football London, expanding kit sponsorships is one avenue for generating funds, and an impressive leak revealed a futuristic goalkeeper shirt featuring metallic elements, a gold Nike swoosh, and the Chelsea badge.

The kit’s anthracite and grey color scheme, combined with unique material, gives it a distinct appearance from various angles.

Furthermore, changes are expected in the club’s kit sponsors, with reports indicating the potential departure of Three and WhaleFin.

Chelsea is not only undergoing design changes but also facing alterations in their kit sponsors. Currently, the front of the Blues’ kits is sponsored by the mobile phone network Three, with a reported annual fee of £40 million ($50 million).

Earlier this year, reports surfaced suggesting that Chelsea intends to part ways with Three as their contract is set to expire this summer.

Additionally, there is uncertainty surrounding the shirt sponsors WhaleFin, a cryptocurrency firm, who currently pay approximately £20 million ($25 million) per year.

Talks have been held with insurers Allianz for a new sponsorship deal, emphasizing the desire for a prominent and reputable sponsor.
