Chelsea are reportedly weighing up another loan deal to sign Joao Felix this summer with the Blues unwilling to match Atletico Madrid’s asking price to make the transfer permanent.
The forward joined the Blues in the January transfer window in a loan deal that will expire at the end of the season and speculation has been rife over Chelsea’s decision to retain Felix or part ways with him.
According to a report from Mundo Deportivo, it is claimed that the Stamford Bridge camp are considering making another approach to sign Felix on loan this summer due to Atletico’s steep price tag for Felix.
The La Liga giants are said to be demanding a fee in the region of €100 million which could be too steep an asking price for Chelsea owner Todd Boehly who has not been shy from spending big on new recruits since he took over at the club last year.
Chelsea are in need of a mass clear-out of current first team players before the Blues can welcome new faces in the summer window and it remains to be seen whether Felix would be staying put at the Bridge.
