Zinedine Zidane is set to snub interest in his services from Chelsea with the Frenchman expected to return to management in the summer.
The former Real Madrid manager has been tipped for the Chelsea top job which is vacant this summer alongside the likes of Luis Enrique, Mauricio Pochettino and Vincent Kompany.
Recent reports, however, have now indicated that the ex-Barcelona head coach Enrique is no longer in the running while Pochettino has emerged as the new frontrunner for the Stamford Bridge hot seat after Julian Nagelsmann ruled himself out of the race.
According to a claim from the French news outlet RMC Sport, Zidane would prefer a move to his old club Juventus with the Turin outfit described as his priority as the French icon wants a team with a long-term project in a blow to Chelsea’s plans.
The Blues are unlikely to qualify for the Champions League next season while Juventus are now in line to secure a top-four finish in the Serie A after their points deduction was overturned to move them up to third in the league table.
