According to the transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Graham Potter’s Chelsea are keeping close tabs on Kone’s situation with the Blues joined by domestic rivals Manchester United as the frontrunners to sign the Monchengladbach starlet.
Chelsea are on the search for a long-term partner for their club record signing Enzo Fernandez before the next season gets underway and the Blues co-owner Todd Beohly is pushing to bolster his engine room come the summer.
Signing the sought-after Jude Bellingham could prove to be an uphill task for Chelsea which could convince both Boehly and Graham Potter to look elsewhere for alternatives when the transfer window reopens for business.
