PSG remain in contact with Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante’s representatives as they look to move in for the France international’s signature this summer.
Kante’s current deal with Chelsea is due to expire at the end of the season and talk has gained ground of late that the Blues are closing in on extending the Frenchman’s contract by another two years.
According to a report from 90min, however, it is claimed that Kante’s suitors Paris Saint-Germain continue to keep tabs on his situation with the Ligue 1 giants hoping to convince the midfielder to move back to the French top flight.
The 31-year-old Kante is understood to be happy to stay put in London and has given priority to Chelsea when it comes to negotiating his future even as some of Europe’s biggest clubs have been credited with an interest in his services.
Barcelona were reportedly considering launching a bid for Kante who will head into free agency come the summer should his talks with Chelsea over a new deal hit a roadblock.
