Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy has been given the nod to leave the club at the end of the season with Todd Boehly out to revamp the squad over the summer.
The Senegal international Mendy will enter the final two years of his current deal at the Bridge come the summer and speculation has been rife over his future at the club following his fall down the pecking order.
He has struggled for regular game time since Graham Potter took charge of Chelsea last year with the latter preferring Kepa Arrizabalaga as his first choice option between the goalposts.
According to a report from The Daily Mirror, it is claimed that Mendy will be free to head out the exit door at Stamford Bridge before the next season gets underway as Potter looks to trim down his squad.
Mendy had become one of the best shot-stoppers in the Premier League following his move to Chelsea from Rennes in 2020 as the Senegal keeper had 16 clean sheets under his belt in his debut campaign.
