Hakim Ziyech’s loan transfer to Paris Saint-Germain which looked likely to go through on deadline day could be off in a blow to the Chelsea winger who was keen to take the exit route from Stamford Bridge.
The Ligue 1 giants PSG had emerged as late contenders for Zieych’s signature as the French club were on the lookout for a viable signing to bolster their injury hit front line.
Chelsea and PSG had agreed a loan deal without an obligation to buy for the Morocco playmaker who was set to land in Paris to complete his medical while the two clubs were still locked in negotiations.
According to a report from Goal, however, the required paperwork was submitted late as a result of Chelsea repeatedly sending the incorrect documents and this has put Ziyech’s move to the French capital city in jeopardy.
PSG does have the opportunity to appeal to the country’s footballing authorities but it is said that they do not have much hope of registering Ziyech for the remainder of the season.
