Chelsea and Arsenal have reportedly agreed on a £12 million fee for Jorginho’s transfer to the Premier League leaders on Tuesday’s deadline day.
The Italy international emerged as a serious target for the North London giants who are in the market for a new midfield recruit and have received repeated setbacks in pursuit of Brighton star Moises Caicedo.

According to a recent tweet from the transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, it is indicated that Arsenal are closing in on signing the 31-year-old Chelsea maestro in a deal worth £12 million which has been deemed acceptable by Jorginho’s club Chelsea.
The midfielder is expected to put pen to paper on a one-year deal at Arsenal with the option of another year as Jorginho draws curtains on his stint at Stamford Bridge which started in 2018 with a move to the west Londoners from Napoli.
Jorginho had entered the final six months of his current terms at Stamford Bridge and no headway had been made between his camp and Chelsea over a new deal to be signed ahead of the summer.
