Paris Saint-Germain rushing to complete deal to sign Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech

Paris Saint-Germain are rushing to complete a deal to sign Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech before the January window closes on Tuesday.

Ziyech had been widely expected to leave the Stamford Bridge fold this January after his reduced first-team involvement for the Blues had other clubs eyeing up a move for his services.

According to a report from the French publication L’Equipe, it is claimed that the Ligue 1 giants PSG are in advanced talks to sign Ziyech on loan but face a rage against time to complete the transfer with Tuesday’s deadline day looming large on the club.

The Moroccan playmaker, who was key to his nation’s superb run to the semi-finals at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, has already agreed on personal terms with PSG who have been scouting the market for a new signing to bolster their front line.

Ziyech has spent three underwhelming seasons at the Bridge following his move to west London from Ajax in 2020 and he started just four games in top-flight action this term.
