Chelsea can sign PSV Eindhoven winger Noni Madueke this January window should the Stamford Bridge camp return with an improved offer.
Despite parting ways with Cody Gakpo who signed Liverpool earlier in the month, the Dutch giants PSV are willing to green light a move to west London for the highly rated Madueke but for a hefty price tag.
The initial offer tabled by Chelsea, believed to be in the region of £26.5 million for the attacker, was reportedly turned down outright by PSV who want to pocket a sizable fee for the in-demand England under-21 international Madueke.
According to a report from The Daily Express, it is claimed that if the Blues revive their interest in the 20-year-old forward with an improved offer, PSV are expected to accept the bid, paving the way for Chelsea to continue their recent spending spree.
Chelsea have made five signings in the first couple of weeks of the winter transfer window with the new owners, led by Todd Beohly, forking out in excess of £400 million since last summer on incomings to bolster the squad.
