Chelsea are said to be keeping tabs on Southampton defender Kyle Walker-Peters who is attracting the attention of some of England’s biggest clubs.
The likes of Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are also credited with an interest in the 25-year-old Walker-Peters whose club Southampton sits at the foot of the Premier League table midway through the season.
According to a report from talkSPORT, it is claimed that the wing back is seeking a move elsewhere after talks with the Saints over a new deal hit a stumbling block which has proven to be of interest to his big-name suitors in the market.
Graham Potter’s Chelsea, who have already made three signings in the January transfer window, are looking for another right back to provide cover for nailed-on starter Reece James following another injury setback to the latter.
Chelsea’s latest signing of the window has been the Atletico Madrid frontman Joao Felix who walked through the doors at the Bridge earlier this week with the Blues snapping up the 23-year-old on loan until the end of the season.
