The Blues’ winger Eden Hazard has finally revealed that he is extremely tired of the constant football but he is still content at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea is currently sitting in 3rd place in the Premier League at the moment and is doing extremely well to remain unbeaten this campaign. Club coach Maurizio Sarri has engraved his beautiful philosophy and that practice is being unveiled at Stamford Bridge.
One of the main reasons why Chelsea are firing on all cylinders is because of star forward Eden Hazard. The Belgian attacker has made a tremendous start to this season scoring eight goals and notching up four assists so far in all competitions.
But the rumors that link Hazard to La Liga giants Real Madrid just never seem to go away and come January, the Blues faithful will be happy to know that their star attacker is happy at Stamford Bridge.
In an interview with talkSPORT, the 27-year-old opened up on his current situation stating that he is happy at the club and always enjoyed his stint at the West London outfit, “For the last seven years with Chelsea, I have always enjoyed myself. When I am on the pitch I try to give happiness, first to me and then to the fans who are watching the game. At the moment, we are doing well and that’s why I am doing well. So I am happy to play at the moment.”
However, Hazard also added that the World Cup in the summer and regular football has got him a little bit tired as he took his Belgian side to third place in the grand tournament, “Believe me, I am tired!. But I think I’m in good condition to play. Last year I got an injury with my ankle for three months. So, that’s why I’m fresh now.”
Hazard might need a bit of a break at the moment because he always plays at a 100percent and he is vital to both Chelsea as well as his national side Belgium. Too much football can risk a possible injury and certainly, none of the two parties would like that.
