Chelsea resume their top-flight duties on Monday as Graham Potter’s side play hosts to AFC Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge hoping to close the gap on the top four.
A three-game losing run in the Premier League prior to the World Cup break for Chelsea had upped the pressure on the new boss Potter to steer his side back to much-needed winning ways.
With the January transfer window just days away and Potter looking to bolster his squad with new faces coming through the door at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea will be looking to clinch the three points on home soil against the league’s new boys Bournemouth.
