Chelsea have made contact with Juventus over the potential availability of Dusan Vlahovic who has emerged as a transfer target for Graham Potter’s Blues.
The west London giants, who endured a rough start to the season, are tipped to spend the cash once again in January to reinforce their ranks, especially in the attacking third of the pitch where the current options have failed to inspire.
According to Ben Jacobs ( via The Daily Express), it is claimed that the Serbian international Vlahovic is a viable name on the shopping list for Chelsea as Potter looks to add firepower to his front line in the mid-season transfer window.
He has failed to perform on a consistent basis since signing for the Turin giants from Fiorentina earlier this year and Juve could be open to green lighting his exit with several clubs in the mix for the striker’s signature.
There remains great uncertainty over Vlahovic’s immediate future ahead of the January window and Chelsea would be hoping that it is them who can fend off competition from rivals clubs to secure the signing.
