AC Milan are seeking an €80 million fee to part ways with Chelsea target Rafael Leao with the winger emerging as a coveted name in the transfer market.
Leao, who put out a dazzling run of displays at the World Cup in Qatar with the Portugal side, is a top name on Chelsea’s shopping list as the Blues look to reinforce their front line in the coming months.
According to a report from the Italian news outlet Calciomercato, it is claimed that Milan want €80 million to green light Leao’s move away from the club with Chelsea keen to snap up the 23-year-old’s signature.
Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly is said to be preparing a budget for January with his new manager Graham Potter on the lookout for viable options to bolster a misfiring attacking roster which had failed to perform consistently this season.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Raheem Sterling were both signed in the summer but the duo have not impressed with their showings in the final third of the pitch forcing Potter into a search for a new recruit.
