Chelsea open to swap Hakim Ziyech for Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot

Chelsea are open to swapping Hakim Ziyech for Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot with the former heavily linked with a move away from west London in the January transfer window.

Ziyech had fallen out of favour with the then-Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel and the situation has failed to change under the latter’s successor Graham Potter who is likely to give his nod for Ziyech’s departure.

According to a report from football.london, after turning down AC Milan’s offer for their long-standing target, Chelsea are hoping to convince Juventus to part ways with Rabiot with Ziyech going in the opposite direction.

Rabiot has once again emerged on the west Londoners’ radar with Potter on the hunt for much-needed reinforcements to bolster his engine room after reports sounded out that N’Golo Kante will remain sidelined until after the New Year.

Manchester United and Newcastle are expected to provide competition to Chelsea for the France international midfielder who came close to sealing a move to Old Trafford last summer.
