Chelsea want to make a move for Tottenham Hotspur talisman Harry Kane with the English forward’s arrival likely to bolster Graham Potter’s front line.
Kane has been a star turn for Chelsea’s local rivals Spurs in recent times and despite the uncertainty that continues to loom over his future in North London, he has enjoyed a superb start to the new season with eight goals in 10 top flight games.
According to a report from football.london, it is claimed that the Blues co-owner Todd Boehly, who is looking to sanction the sales of the likes of Hakim Ziyech and Christian Pulisic, has his sights on an ambitious transfer to bring Kane to Stamford Bridge.
Boehly is keen to emulate Arsenal’s business in the summer window when they signed the Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City with the forward putting out a stellar run of displays since his move to the Gunners.
Chelsea did splash out a sizable sum of £58 million on signing Raheem Sterling and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to their ranks in the summer but the new boss Potter is expected to dip into the market for another fresh face.
