Chelsea emerged winners in Tuesday night’s San Siro showdown against the Italian champions AC Milan with Graham Potter’s side scoring through Jorginho and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the first half.

The visitors had an early break through on goal which earned them a spot-kick as former Chelsea man Fikayo Tomori brought down Mason Mount in the box to receive the red card.
Jorginho stepped up and made no mistake in finding the back of the net to make it 1-0 for Chelsea with the Milan supporters jeering from the stands.
Milan frontman Giroud, another ex-Blue, had a great chance to level the affair but his header went just wide of Kepa’s left-hand post.
Chelsea soon doubled their advantage with Aubameyang the man to score this time after he was found by a wonderful threaded pass behind the deep Milan defence from Mason Mount.
A 10-man Milan side were unable to turn the game back in their favour and the second period at San Siro was largely a dull affair despite Aubameyang coming close to scoring another only to be denied by Tatarusanu.
Tatarusanu made important saves in the later stages of the game to deny Gallagher twice but the hosts were in no position to mount what could have been a very impressive comeback.
