Graham Potter rings in major changes to his Chelsea XI for Saturday’s league contest against Wolves with Raheem Sterling and Reece James both dropping down to the bench.
Also finding a place amongst the substitutes is summer signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang with American international Christian Pulisic handed a rare starting berth on the team sheet.
Trevoh Chalobah provides cover for the injured Wesley Fofana
Fofana picked up a knock in the midweek win over AC Milan in the Champions League and the French defender does not play any part in the weekend’s game.
Providing cover for him is Trevoh Chalobah who joins Kalidou Koulibaly and Cesar Azpilicueta in the three-man defensive lineup for the home side.
Conor Gallagher and Jorginho start in the midfield
The engine room for Chelsea has Jorginho and Conor Gallagher as the new entrants alongside the two wing-backs Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Marc Cucurella.
In the attacking third of the pitch, Kai Havertz will be operating in the central striking role with Mason Mount and Pulisic out wide.
