Paris Saint-Germain are said to be keeping tabs on Chelsea’s French midfielder N’Golo Kante who has entered the final 12 months of his terms at Stamford Bridge.
There is great uncertainty doing the rounds over Kante’s future in west London beyond the summer of 2023 amid Thomas Tuchel’s recent remarks over extending a new deal to the 31-year-old World Cup-winning maestro.
The Chelsea head coach had admitted that Kante’s injuries and age will be considered when offering a new contract to the midfielder which added to the speculation surrounding his renewal talks with the Premier League giants.
According to a report from The Times, it is claimed that Ligue 1 heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain are mulling over making an approach to sign Kante who is free to talk to other clubs come January when he would have six months left on his deal.
Chelsea’s hunt for midfield reinforcements this summer have taken them nowhere despite their long-standing pursuit of Barcelona’s wantaway star Frenkie de Jong who is keen to join Thomas Tuchel’s Blues.
