Sevilla are said to be keen on moving in for Chelsea’s wantaway attacker Callum Hudson-Odoi who is looking for a change in scenery this summer.
Having seen his first-team opportunities dwindle at Stamford Bridge under Thomas Tuchel’s charge, the 21-year-old Hudson-Odoi is intent on calling it quits with Chelsea and leave on a season-long loan deal.
According to a report from the Spanish news outlet Estadio Deportivo, it is claimed that an injury to Jesus Manuel Corona has convinced Sevilla to make an approach to sign Hudson-Odoi and offer him an escape route to get his career back on track.
The player and Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel are understood to have a strained relationship and the latter is not expected to show any reluctance in parting ways with the English winger at a time when he is on the lookout for a new striker for his side.
Barcelona’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has emerged as Tuchel’s top name on the summer wishlist with the 33-year-old Gabon international mulling over a return to the Premier League after falling down the pecking order at Camp Nou.
