Fabrizio Romano has provided a big update on Chelsea’s interest in Wesley Fofana with personal terms reportedly agreed upon between the two parties.
Chelsea have identified the Leicester City centre-back as a top name on their wishlist for the summer window with Thomas Tuchel looking to add to his options at the back after notable departures.
Both Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen left Stamford Bridge this summer to sign for Real Madrid and FC Barcelona respectively, leaving Tuchel bereft of quality names in the centre-back role.

According to a recent tweet by the transfer expert Romano, Fofana has struck an agreement on personal terms with Chelsea with the contract set to be ready should Chelsea agree upon a fee with Leicester City for the French defender.
Leicester are yet to make a U-turn on their firm stance against parting ways with the 21-year-old Fofana who is said to be desperate to make the move to the Bridge before next month’s all-important deadline day.
