Chelsea are reportedly considering a shock move for Southampton full-back Kyle Walker-Peters to add to their defensive ranks in this summer’s transfer window.
Thomas Tuchel’s side appear to be closing in on snapping up the highly-rated Brighton wing-back Marc Cucurella as Chelsea hijacked Manchester City’s long-standing approach for the Spaniard.

According to the Italian transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are keen to sign another full-back after Cucurella’s capture and have identified the Southampton first-teamer Kyle Walker-Peters as a viable target.
Inter Milan’s wantaway star Denzel Dumfries is another name on Chelsea’s shopping list for the summer window but the San Siro camp are reluctant to part ways with the Holland international with little time to line up a replacement.
Another player believed to be a priority on the transfer front for Chelsea and Thomas Tuchel remains the Leicester City centre-back Wesley Fofana despite The Foxes in no mood to sanction the sale except for a ‘crazy offer’ to be tabled by Chelsea.
