Leicester City will entertain offers only north of £70 million for Chelsea target Wesley Fofana with another setback imminent for the Stamford Bridge camp in their search of a new centre-back.
Failure to move in for Sevilla’s Jules Kounde, a long-standing name on Thomas Tuchel’s shopping list in the transfer window, had forced Tuchel to switch his focus on Leicester City’s young Frenchman Fofana.
On #CFC links with Wesley Fofana. Extremely difficult to get a sale this window. Brendan Rodgers doesn’t want to lose him. #LCFC won’t even entertain offers below £70m and he could well be priced higher. No approach to #LCFC yet. Fofana only signed a long-term contract in March… pic.twitter.com/hVCOQLfwSX

According to CBS Sports journalist Ben Jacobs, however, the King Power Stadium outfit are in no mood to part ways with Fofana this summer with the centre-back penning extended terms with the Midlanders in March.
Jacobs has claimed that the Leicester camp will listen to offers which would be around the £70 million mark or above, certainly a hefty valuation of the 21-year-old Fofana who has emerged on the radar for Chelsea in recent days.
Tuchel remains on the hunt for reinforcements to add to his defensive ranks with the Blues head coach keen to bring in another signing to go along with the arrival of Senegal international Kalidou Koulibaly.
