Bayern Munich star Serge Gnabry is said to be not keen on the idea of making the move to Chelsea amidst his contract impasse with the Bavarian giants.
The Germany international wide player emerged as a viable option to eye up a swoop for this summer at Stamford Bridge with Chelsea suffering a surprise setback in their pursuit of Leeds United attacker Raphinia.
Gnabry, however, due to his loyalties with Arsenal where he had a four-year stint between 2012 and 2016, will turn down any potential offer coming his way from Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea, according to a report from The Daily Mirror.
This will come as another blow to Chelsea’s hopes of adding to their attacking roster before the next season kicks off with Tuchel having his task cut out in bringing in new signings after losing last summer’s recruit Romelu Lukaku to Inter Milan.
Moroccan playmaker Hakim Ziyech, who has struggled to fit in since his move to the Bridge back in 2020, is another first-teamer likely to be deemed surplus to requirements soon with AC Milan keeping close tabs on his situation.
