Everton could pull out of race to sign Chelsea’s promising forward Armando Broja

Everton could pull out of the race to sign Chelsea’s promising forward Armando Broja this summer owing to constraints on the financial front.

Blues icon Frank Lampard, now in charge at Goodison Park, is tipped to be eyeing up a swoop for Broja who excelled during his loan stint at Southampton last season with eight goals in top flight football.

Despite Everton’s interest in moving in for Broja on loan, Chelsea have made it clear that the 20-year-old Albanian will exit Stamford Bridge this summer only on a permanent basis which could complicate Lampard’s approach.

According to a report from The Daily Mirror, the Merseyside Blues are holding out for the nod by the Premier League over profit and sustainability rules to do business again this transfer window and open talks for their top targets in the market.

Brazilian forward Richarlison linking up with Tottenham Hotspur ensured a big-money payout for Everton but it is understood that the transfer went through on the deadline for the past year’s financial results.
