Chelsea agree personal terms with Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling

Chelsea have agreed on personal terms with Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling with Thomas Tuchel’s side closing in on their first signing of this summer’s transfer window.

Sterling emerged as a top name on the shopping list for the Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel who is planning a major overhaul of his attacking ranks before the next season kicks off.

According to a report from football.london, the Blues have taken a major step towards completing a deal for Sterling with an agreement in place between the Stamford Bridge camp and the England international forward.

It is understood that Chelsea are keen to complete the deal for the 27-year-old by the end of this week and land the Manchester City winger for a fee in the region of £50 million.

Sterling is expected to fetch the highest wages in the Chelsea fold when he finalizes his move to the English capital with the former Liverpool man tipped to become Chelsea’s attacking mainstay following Romelu Lukaku’s exit to sign for Inter Milan.
