Cristiano Ronaldo could be willing to make the move to Chelsea this summer with the Manchester United rebel assessing his options.
The Portuguese superstar is understood to have made his decision of calling it quits at Old Trafford in pursuit of Champions League football but his £500,000 a week wages are likely to put off suitors in the transfer market.
Chelsea have been tipped as a potential destination for the 37-year-old attacker with the Stamford Bridge club’s new owner Todd Boehly touching base with Ronald’s agent Jorge Mendes over a possible move to west London.
According to a report from ESPN, it is claimed that Ronaldo is open to the idea of signing for Chelsea with Boehly, who has taken over the sporting director role from the outgoing Marina Granovskaia, keen to move in for the Manchester United talisman.
The Blues head coach Thomas Tuchel will be given the choice to bring in Ronaldo this summer considering Tuchel has been hard at work to overhaul his forward lineup after sanctioning the loan exit of club record signing Romelu Lukaku.
