Barcelona are holding out for Chelsea’s approval to sign wing-back Marcos Alonso from the Stamford Bridge camp in this summer’s transfer window.
The Spanish defender has his future in the English capital subject to intense speculation as of late with Alonso demanding a move to Camp Nou despite Chelsea’s reluctance on parting ways.
Barcelona are still working on Marcos Alonso deal. No doubts on player side: potential agreement ready on personal terms with Barça, still waiting to find solution with Chelsea. 🇪🇸 #FCB
Barça are also hoping to receive final answer for Cesar Azpilicueta soon.

According to the Italian transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona are hoping to add another Chelsea player to their roster on a free transfer after signing Andreas Christensen with some progress expected on the Marcos Alonso front sooner rather than later.
The Blues boss Thomas Tuchel has lost two of his key defensive names in Christensen, who makes the move to Barca, and Germany international Antonio Rudiger with the latter joining the Spanish champions Real Madrid.
Skipper Cesar Azpilicueta too has been linked with a move away from the Bridge this summer with FC Barcelona once again eyeing up a raid on the Chelsea ranks to land the veteran central defender.
