Chelsea register an interest in signing Manchester City’s Gabriel Jesus

Chelsea have registered an interest in signing Manchester City’s Gabriel Jesus this summer with the Stamford Bridge giants on the hunt for reinforcements to bolster their attacking roster.

Jesus is rumoured to be looking for a move away from the Etihad this summer with Erling Haaland’s big-money move to the Premier League champions likely to see the former deemed surplus to requirements.

North London giants Arsenal have been tipped to be keeping tabs on Jesus since the turn of the year but Mikel Arteta’s side are now set for a new competitor in the mix with Chelsea hoping to bring Jesus to the English capital.

According to a report from the Spanish news outlet AS, it is claimed that Chelsea want to sign a new No.9 this summer with last year’s marquee arrival Romelu Lukaku on the fringes of Thomas Tuchel’s side amid his future becoming uncertain by the day.

Inter Milan are closing in on a move for their former talisman but would be required to strike out loan terms with Chelsea who are not prepared to part ways with the £98 million signing on the cheap.
