New Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is reportedly keeping tabs on Mason Mount’s contract situation at Stamford Bridge this summer, according to a report from The Sun.
Mount’s long drawn out contract talks in the English capital appear to have stalled as of late which has put some of Chelsea’s Premier League rivals on alert for Mount’s coveted signature.
Manchester United, under the charge of the incoming gaffer Ten Hag, are keen to overhaul their squad in the summer window and are eyeing up a deal for Mount whose Chelsea future remains up in the air.
It is understood that the Old Trafford giants have already touched base with Mount’s camp and registered an interest in his services with the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool mongering the situation too.
The 23-year-old has two years still to go on his £88,000-a-week current terms at the Bridge with the Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel, who has brought out the best of Mount in recent times, sure to make a push for his renewal with the Blues.
