Chelsea are believed to be keeping tabs on Paris Saint-Germain’s Presnel Kimpembe who features on the shopping list for the boss Thomas Tuchel this summer.
Tuchel finds himself on the hunt for defensive reinforcements ahead of the next season with the German losing both his mainstays Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen to Real Madrid and FC Barcelona respectively.
Despite reports suggesting that Sevilla star Jules Kounde is set to join his long-standing suitors Chelsea sooner rather than later, Tuchel could be enticed to dip into the market once again for another signing to bolster his ranks at the back.
According to Sky Sports, PSG first-team regular Kimpembe, who emerged as one of the standout performers for the French top flight champions this season, is on the radar at Stamford Bridge with Chelsea keen on landing his signature.
Atletico Madrid’s Jose Gimenez and RB Leipzig’s Josko Gvardiol are the other names being looked at by the west London heavyweights who would be required to bring in replacements should skipper Cesar Azpilicueta also demand a move away.
